Some recent healed results before touchup! 🥰✨

Shaping healed results is very important for tempering clients’ expectations of the final healed result, and also is a more accurate representation of the artist’s actual skill level, ability to troubleshoot, and overall quality of work.
•
Fresh work is easy to make look good, but is only part of the process. The aftercare is an important part, as is picking the right pigment and needle, the client’s biology, skincare, and environment.
•
Although there are many things that are out of my control as an artist(everything mentioned above that is the responsibility of the client, or their biology)some of those things I can participate in by troubleshooting things that may be impacting the healing, suggesting modifications to aftercare, avoiding certain environmental or skincare products, or changing the pigment or needle at the touchup.

There is always learning to do, research to be done, processes to be tweaked, and skills to improve upon.
•
It is my goal as an artist, as well as a person, to be constantly improving…not in order to achieve perfection, because no one ever will, but so I can lay my head to rest knowing I gave it my best, because that’s the kind of person I want to be.

This mindset allows me to make less judgements on my work, and to take the time to stop and see the actual progress I’ve made, even if it isn’t *perfect*…it’s better - and that’s all I can ask for. 🫶🏻

As a side note, part of this growing as an artist has been achieved through finding and using quality pigments from HANAFY PIGMENTS FOR PMU Hanafy Pigments USA
