When you first find out that there is a little more perfection to your baby than planned it can be scary and overwhelming. I don’t just mean for the mom and dad but also for the baby. When I found out my daughter was deaf In her right ear and figured out what all needed to be done…It’s awful but true … I automatically worried about her being picked on or someone asking “what is that?”and her being insecure about having a cochlear implant. I don’t just want to turn the “what is that?” Into a “I want one!” But I also want the kids who have to wear them feel confident. Being different is beautiful ❤️
