I’ll never understand why someone would attach extensions that are so heavily disproportionate to a client’s natural locs. 😩

Knowing how to attach an extension does not automatically qualify someone to be your extension loctitian. There is so much more that has to be considered—hair density, loc diameter, curl pattern, porosity, previous hair care, scalp health, maintenance routine, and the overall integrity of the natural hair.

Unfortunately, this client experienced hair being ripped at the scalp, painful retightenings, and an unsightly appearance because the extensions were not appropriate for her hair type and were drastically different in diameter from her natural locs.

We removed the old extensions and are now replacing them with extensions that are properly sized and proportioned to match her natural locs. 🙌🏽
