I love seeing these post about barber price increases 😂 in reality…the price never started out with the correct structure (in most cases) from the beginning. Once you factor in Operating cost/expense (which went up significantly with the rest of the world) and don’t get me started on TAXES…that barber is not seeing even close to what you think he/she is financially. That applies to someone that is running a legit business. Which is why back in the day you could purchase a dog, ⛽️ and dvds from one barber because in reality the barber business wasn’t fully accounted for within that price point. The new barbers are trying to run legit business! With that legitimacy, there should be professionalism, clean environment, full service etc. They aren’t overcharging, they are just fixing a broke foundation. Sn: There are still plenty of $20 barbers out there, YOU just don’t want to go to them! 😂
