Quick pre-braid wash-day tip that helps your protective style start smoother and last better:
After you shampoo, load up on conditioner (this bottle is a real example of the “detangle + replenish moisture” step), then detangle GENTLY in sections.
• Work one section at a time
• Finger detangle first
• Then use a wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends and working up
Rinse, squeeze out excess water, and you’re ready to prep for braids.
