🫡💥I’m out here spiking the punch bowl, my dudes.
🌶️After my red baddies finish processing, I rinse.
Then I plug the sink, mix warm water with a semi-permanent red, and literally pour it over the hair.
👊🏻Don’t dump it in one spot. Move it. Work it through. Let it grab.
❄️Then rinse cold.
🐦🔥I call it a “bird bath.”
You’ve probably heard it called the “water method.”
Either way… it’s disrespectfully red now.🤬

Lived-in Vivids 🤝Bobs
We did a BIG chop recently and reworked this high maintenance (to the root) vivid into something that requires far less time in the salon.
Now maintaining this color looks like quick color refreshes with a vivid color overlay on top of the pre-lightened hair and coming in every 3-4 months for a face-frame foil or partial foil instead of roots every 6-7 weeks ⚡️✨🤝

👀🎤 I’m about to say a couple of things that not everyone’s going to agree with, but it’s something I stand by as a stylist:
☝🏻 YOU DON’T HAVE TO SPECIALIZE IN EVERYTHING.
When I moved to Charlotte, I met 🫶🏻 Her extension work? Insane. She knows that world inside and out, and it shows in every detail.
I’m personally fueled by other artists’ passion and I’m always so flattered when another stylist trusts me with their client.
🖤🤝That kind of respect goes both ways. I trust her with my own clients too! When something’s outside my comfort zone, I refer my beloved angels her way. That’s big trust, big love, and our clients get the absolute BEST. 🤍
✌🏻 SHARING CLIENTS DOESN’T HAVE TO BE WEIRD.
Can we PLEASE retire the idea that clients “belong” to anyone? They’re people, not property. If you really care about giving them the best, respect their journey. Collaboration > competition.
Working together opens doors. You learn, you grow, and you get inspired by other stylists doing amazing things. 🫶🏻
