Otherwise known as ways to make your injector cry.

Which one is the worst offender? 😂

Be honest… did you swipe because you thought this was a DIY Botox tutorial?

I love the confidence, but some of y’all watched two TikToks and now suddenly think you’re board certified. Please leave the needles to me before we both end up stressed.

Come see me for the real thing!

Rainy weather wasn’t exactly part of the Memorial Day pool party plans 😅☔️

But somehow good food, cocktails, games, and a work crowd that knows how to make the best of things still turned it into such a fun day🤍

And in the middle of all the fun, we didn’t forget to pause and remember the true meaning of Memorial Day — honoring and giving thanks to those who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we get to enjoy every day 🇺🇸

We’ve all been there… waiting for him to change and waiting for the Botox to kick in. 😂

At least one of them actually will. 💉

This week’s “Things Holly Needs You To Know” ☀️

May is Melanoma Awareness Month, and this topic is personal for me. A while back, I noticed a hard, red spot on my nose that wouldn’t heal or go away. After a biopsy, it came back as squamous cell skin cancer.

Thankfully, it was caught early. I was treated with CO2 laser and red light therapy because the area was very superficial, and we wanted to avoid unnecessary scarring on the face. Recovery was quick, the results were amazing, and I’m incredibly grateful.

But here’s why I’m sharing this: yearly skin checks matter. Wearing sunscreen matters. The sun damage we get in our younger years catches up eventually, and so many people ignore spots because they “don’t think it’s anything.”

Please pay attention to your skin. If something looks different, changes, or just won’t heal — get it checked.

Healthy skin will always be more important than a tan around here.

A little “what’s in my pool bag” moment because summer in Charlotte is no joke.

Current essentials: SPF, water, sunglasses, a good hat, and a few skincare favorites for after a long day in the sun. Simple, practical, and keeping the skin happy all summer long.

What’s always in your beach or pool bag?

May is Melanoma Awareness Month ☀️

As someone who spends every day focused on skin, I can tell you this: protecting it matters just as much as treating it. Skin cancer doesn’t always look obvious, and early detection can make all the difference.

Next week, I’ll be sharing a new “Things Holly Wants You to Know” series focused on melanoma awareness, what to watch for, and simple ways to better protect your skin every day. Stay tuned, this is an important one. 🤍

If your husband thinks Botox lasts a year… we need to have a conversation 😌💉

POV: When your husband says you only need Botox once a year 🚩

Botox is maintenance — not a once-a-year oil change.

Most patients maintain their results every 3–4 months to keep everything smooth, balanced, and preventative rather than waiting for full movement to return.

Consistent treatments = softer lines, better longevity, and more natural results over time.

Ladies… don’t let these men fool you 😂

Most nurses didn’t become nurses for recognition.
They became nurses because someone needed them.

Before I was a nurse injector, I worked neurosurgery — long 12-hour shifts rotating days and nights. I’ve worked internal medicine, dermatology, concierge medicine, and even a short time in urology.

I know what it’s like to hold someone’s hand during the worst moment of their life.
To sit quietly with grieving families.
To clean patients, comfort patients, advocate for patients..

Nursing isn’t glamorous most days.
It’s exhausting, emotional, selfless work that asks everything from you — mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Now, my role looks different.
I have the privilege of helping people feel confident again. I get to help someone feel beautiful for their wedding, restore confidence after years of insecurity, and help people see themselves in a brighter light.

But at the core of it all… I still do what I do because I’m a nurse.

And to every nurse out there — whether you’re at the bedside, in the OR, in aesthetics, home health, hospice, clinics, or anywhere in between:

What you do matters more than you know.
Your compassion matters.
Your sacrifice matters.
And you matter. 🤍

Happy Nurses Week.
