Hello friends! 🤗

🔮I have enjoyed some months "off" from the hustle and bustle of owning and running a business.

🎨I am reclaiming my energy as an Artist first and foremost. I have one pet portrait project finished and 3 painting commissions to begin. I am just now wrapping my head around what my processes are moving forward in preparation for Tattooing again after this much needed break.

💥Tattooing is really hard on my body. After 25 years, I finally understand the toll it truly takes. My deepest intentions are to create a pace that is more sustainable as I age. Just a few years into my career, I was booked SOLID for years; 5 days a week and often 8 or more hours a day.

💡As I've gotten older and wiser and more in touch with my own needs, I am choosing to come back with intentional ease and added spaciousness; 3 days a week at only 4-5 hours per day.

🌈This creates more room for me to create in other mediums, focus a bit more on my home and family, drumming and skating and just generally doing less. If you find yourself unable to keep up with your own pace- this is your permission slip to make the changes you need to live the life that fuels you instead of flattens you.

A personal note:

🌀Transitions are ALWAYS hard...even when you know they are right on time. The mind and body get tangled up with emotion through uncertainty.

⏳Time keeps moving us or moving through us. I want to be transparent that closing up shop has been MAJOR in my personal life story. I'm putting the pieces back together in new ways. I've taken up and taken in a lot more space - by design.
.spent some hours, some days, just laying on the carpet with my dog. The urgency of the "next thing" has diminished. Any questioning of my choices has settled into absolute certainty.

🍂✨The Fall Equinox has reminded me - yet again - how our Transitions really never stop. They overlap and dovetail. They are flowing in and flowing out like the tides at all times.

I know it can be hard to CHOOSE to stop, or even slow down the momentum you've created.

This is your invitation.

It's not just ok. It's right and just to do ~
