It’s funny how life works.

If I’m being honest, this new chapter was never part of the plan. Coming from the background I have, I couldn’t see how my past experience would connect to the opportunities being placed in front of me today.

When God opened the door, I was a little confused. But I followed it anyway.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that I wasn’t starting over. As I’ve continued to learn and grow, it’s become clear that so much of what I’ve done throughout my career still applies. The skills, the lessons, the challenges, and the experiences all came with me.

Same foundation. Different language.

One thing this season has taught me is that growth doesn’t always happen the way we expect it to. Sometimes the path forward requires us to be uncomfortable, trust the process, and walk through doors we never imagined opening.

I’m grateful for the opportunity, the growth, and every milestone along the way.

What’s meant for you can’t be taken from you. Every milestone is another brick being laid for what’s ahead.

Wow.. 12 YEARS! 🥹

I started my business in February 2014 and have been self employed since.

Some of you have been with me from the very beginning.. From the small booth I rented at the nail salon in Huntersville (2014-2015) ➡️ Uptown Charlotte (2015-2016) ➡️ South Blvd (2016-2018) ➡️ South End Charlotte.. where I’ve been for the past 8 YEARS 🤯 (2018-current)

You’ve watched me grow, fail, have a child, change my business name( iykyk 😉😂), build a salon team, start new businesses, mentor, teach, receive recognition, etc.🫶🏽

I went through busy seasons, slow seasons, and COVID (bc that was a season within itself 🥴😂)

I’m so grateful, and I give every ounce of credit to God. This solo entrepreneurship life is not for the weak🥴 and yet, I’ve been doing it for 12 years! 🥹

I am so excited to walk into this next chapter! 🥂 🙏🏽
