As a studio, we learned advanced cutting from the absolute best in the business (we 🧡 you LO SHABINO // AUSTIN CUTTING SPECIALIST + EDUCATOR and AUSTIN HAIR SALON // HAIRCUTS ONLY), saw some old friends, and a gained a whole new
perspective to hair color from an actual legend (thank you ).

As individuals, we traveled to new places, achieved some big personal goals (both in and out of the studio), celebrated birthdays and milestones, spent time with friends, went to festivals, hiked some trails and played in some waterfalls - and did a lot of really cool hair.

After a summer like this one, we feel so grateful to have such full plates. 🧡

Want healthier curls? ⛓️ Here are some basics you don’t want to skip:

1.) Avoid product build up. This is a BIG one. If your hair is coated in thick, heavy products - you are literally suffocating your hair. Water cannot pe*****te heavy residue, and curls need 💧hydration💧through H20 more than anything else to look their best!

2.) Get a water filter for your shower head! 🚿 Trust us, this one matters more than you think! Hard water can lead to mineralization and build up that can dry out your curls severely over time. 💀

3.) Get your hair cut at least 1-2x a year (or more if your hair strand is very fine or is compromised from color damage). Split ends will wreak havoc on your growth goals and will heavily affect how defined, healthy, and hydrated your curls ultimately are.

This is a question we get a LOT. And the simple answer is, YES. We do men’s hair! We just don’t charge differently for it because (let’s say it again for the peeps in the back 🗣️📢) HAIR HAS NO GENDER. Period.

Hair is hair is hair. Which is why we charge on a flat rate hourly basis. It’s as simple as that.
