If anyone has read some of the excerpts of my give-away book, ‘Don’t be late, Clean your brushes’ you will understand what I mean when I say yesterday was my ‘One Day’ - referencing at least ‘One Day’ off!
I spent the day alone, outside, building a patio. I’m exhausted, my body aches in areas I didn’t know I had, my grip is barely tight enough to hold my new Solano blow dryer!
However, I finished, ironically in ‘One Day’ and the sense of accomplishment is massive. Starting and finishing, even though it’s not perfect, allowed me to learn so many things about not just my project, but how far I was willing and prepared to go.
Procrastination kills the motivation… enjoy even the hardest moments, the rewards are there!
