We won a Leadership in Tech Award last night. ✨

I say “we” because I have never believed in the self-made leader. Every step forward has been shaped by the people who believed in the vision, showed up in the work, and trusted me to represent something bigger than myself.

For me, it began with my mother. She was the first woman who showed me what leadership looked like up close. Long before I could see it in myself, she spoke over my life with quiet certainty that I would work in tech, tell transformative stories on global stages, and bring people together across borders.

I did not take the exact path she imagined, but I carried her vision and resilience with me, alongside the leadership principles my father instilled in me.

Last night at The Caledonian Club, surrounded by women leaders, I was reminded that we are not simply asking for seats at tables. We are building the tables entirely.
