We’ve all done makeup (on ourselves - or with a client) + get to that moment where - the brush just ain’t hittin. These are the brushes that take me where I wanna go 🙌🏼🤘🏼🙌🏼🤘🏼🙌🏼 and don’t p**s me off 🫶🏼
Buying new brushes is often something that we put lower on the list. It’s not as exciting as a juicy new lip combo - or a necessary as when we run out of our favorite skin tint…..but I’d like to argue that the brushes we use DO make a big difference in the end result of our glam. I hope this helps those that have been asking me for a BRUSH BREAKDOWN 🫶🏼🫶🏼 I truly love using all of these brushes over and over again.

So multipurpose: I love all of these brushes for foundation, cream bronzer, cream contour, and liquid/cream blushes. Definitely my most used category overall: I think I purchased 5 of those yellow Morphe when they came out 🙌🏼
For any smaller areas / details in cream or liquid formulas.
I could live with just these powder brushes forever. Definitely have to have that large 150s from M·A·C Cosmetics - it’s the perfect large fluffy brush to blend everything together at the end.
I like to stay pretty edited with my eye brushes - and then purchase duplicates. I used to carry a huge collection of various eye/detail brushes, which in the end - only made it take longer to find the few that i keep looking for!

The journey from BRIDAL TRIAL to I DO 💍💗
Which look is speaking to you the most???!?! I know for me, the glam gets better every time I meet with a client! The wedding day glam was theeeeeeee absolute best for me 💗💗💗🙌🏼
The Trial: This was the first time I had met Hannah (love you girl)! You’re meeting someone with a clean face and just starting to get a feel for how they like to look + feel their best! We talk about all of your beauty hopes and dreams - must haves + must NOTS - it’s a time to just start exploring what makeup looks like for your client. I rarely find that the makeup that we do at the trial is the same exact makeup that a bride will wear on her wedding day 💗
The Rehearsal Dinner: Hannah came with notes! 🤣🤣🤣 She was looking for something longer wearing, with more saturation, more POP, and more brightness. Now we have a previous glam to compare to, and I love the adjustments that were made round 2 💗
The Wedding Day Glam: the glam keeps getting better! 🙌🏼 the more often you work with an artist, the more you and the artist can grow and learn from past looks. For Hannah’s wedding day bridal glam, I wanted to honor everything that she loved about the previous makeups - but still elevate her look while finding a little more softness. The bridal glam was such a beautiful result of MORE TIME TOGETHER 💗
Did she love all three looks? yes. DID IT KEEP GETTING BETTER?! You tell me 😏😏😏😏💗
Artists: have fun challenging your client to make adjustments while learning and growing for their preferences. And to clients: please know that sometimes the trial is just a rough draft. Stick with your artist, it’s a journey that you’re on together 💍💍💍 Congrats Hannah Pirovano 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 you could not have been a more thoughtful, generous, amazing Bride. I THINK WE SHOULD DO THE FULL WEDDING DAY GLAM PROCESS NEXT?!?!?!?!?
