As the mother of a daughter on the autism spectrum, I can’t stop thinking about what so many families are going through right now.

Many autistic children find comfort and security in their routines, familiar places, and quiet environments. For them, leaving their comfort zone can already be incredibly challenging because that’s where they feel safe.
