A few months ago I had the beautiful opportunity to visit the George 👩🏼‍🌾 ♀️Farmer of Indigo & Natural Dyes farm in the sister island of Guernsey. It was a dream come true to visit the place where pigment bearing plants grow along with passion, vision and endless creativity, and to finally meet the amazing woman behind this inspiring business, George Fukuda. Thank you George for your generosity, and for all my beautiful seeds, pigments, tips and shared knowledge that have brought so much joy into my own creative practice, across the last few years. Thanks to Bailiwick Blue I was able to get in touch with the indigo plant from the very seed, and ignited this infinite blue dimension within me. So much still to explore, but I could not have asked for a better start ✨✨🌀✨✨

Extremely hand-made processes ✨• lip balms with infused calendula oil from the garden • first samples of some shibori techniques with lance leaf coreopsis vat of dried flowers from last year. Ready to grow some new varieties to experiment with more colours.
