Week 4 of 4 (late post again shhh we have some things in work 🤫)

What a rollercoaster of a summer it has been and with the unfortunate cancelation of the showcase event but still ending off on a strong note with guest speakers from Catering by Michaels ,having movie days, some games, little production, and of course keeping our tradition going with celebrating session birthdays with getting some Nothing Bundt Cakes 😋

Great summer overall and we can't wait for the next sessions 🙌🏽

Also keep an eye out for some of our teens' elevator pitches about their business concepts they created throughout the program! We did this to make up for our showcase being canceled so make sure y'all show some support when we post them!

Our teens had an incredible opportunity to visit Vertiport Chicago FBO where they got an up-close look at an impressive lineup of luxury vehicles courtesy of DS LUXURY They also heard from the amazing Vertiport team and local entrepreneurs who shared their career journeys, experiences, and advice.

Opportunities like these give our youth a chance to explore new career paths, ask meaningful questions, and gain inspiration for their own futures. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to make this visit such a memorable experience! 🙌🏽💕

Week 3 of 4 in the books (late post again 🤫)

As we prepared to wrap up our summer session and with the blazing heat of temperatures rising we had to have a lil extra fun through our spirit week.

Monday: Favorite Color Day
Tuesday: Funny T-shirt/meme day
Wednesday: Decades Day
Thursday: Sports/Jersey Day
Friday: Hawaii Day

We did a lot of preparations for our final project/showcase event but of course had some team building games along the way 😌

Week 2 of 4 summer program
(super duper late post, we know but shh 🤫)

During the week we had revved into the next gear and got so much done from production to getting prepped and started their business concepts and getting creative all around.

Summer is flying by too quickly and we all feel it!

We're back! And we just finished Week 1 of 4!

Summer program came by fast and its going to go by fast. We're ready to have some fun and get stuff done!

Played a few group games, got some products done, and of course presentations we're made and listened to on both ends.

We're excited to be back and share with everyone what we got going on this summer!

Are you between the ages of 14-15? Want to get paid to learn? Know someone who does?

Have them apply to our upcoming summer program under where they'll learn business and entrepreneurial skills all while working with their hands and creating body care products such as lip balms, shea balm lotions, soaps, candles, & more! ✨️

Programs will take place in Taft High School (Varsity Campus) and will run from June 22nd till July 17th! Everyday from 8:30-2:30pm
