Where does wax come from? From the bees themselves.

🐝 “Behind every drop of honey lies a story of incredible effort…
A single bee produces only a few tiny wax flakes in 12 hours,
yet those small pieces come together to build perfectly structured honeycombs.
What we enjoy so easily is created by nature through tireless work—
so every drop of honey is not just sweet, it’s a symbol of dedication, patience, and the beauty of nature.” 🍯✨**

This week our Busy Bee Man moved our bees out of the Orange Groves and out to the Buckwheat. We still have out local hives making that beautiful Wildflower.
Now to extract all this orange goodness.

We get lots of questions about how we collect the bee pollen so our Busy Bee Man made a video for you!

In 2015 we put out our yellow sign announcing our honey. She is a little worse for wear, having been hit and run over a couple of times (mostly by me). She is battered, fading and missing a corner. So today she is retiring.
We have replaced her with a new sign! This one is taller so hopefully I won’t back into it.

Honey isn’t just for tea. Check out this Honey Orange Crush Spritzer recipe from the National Honey Board.

Looking to cut back on the sugar in your beverages? Check out this : Honey is up to 50% sweeter than other sugars, so you can use less to achieve the same amount of sweetness in a recipe, including your favorite mocktails and cocktails. 🍯

Try it out in our bubbly and refreshing Honey Orange Crush Spritzer: https://buff.ly/EUV0v7S

We spent the day in the Orange grove checking out the bees and how the honey collected is going.

I just got an update from our Busy Bee Man on how our girls are doing in the Orange Grove.

Our Busy Bee Man has been moving the bees around. Here is a quick video to show you what they are up to!

Time to move the bees! Every February we take our bees to the Almond Groves in the Central Valley, along with 90% of managed bees in the US. Now that the fruit is set it’s time to take them to the next field as the honey gathering starts. Where do you think they are going next???

It’s a blustery day! With all the wind we will not be outside today but we are still open till 6:30. Park in the driveway and come on up to the door. 💜🐝
