When caring for senior clients, sometimes less is more. Today’s client is 88, so I adjusted her facial with a shorter treatment time, feather-light pressure, gentle tapping, minimal friction, and lots of hydration and barrier support.
For senior or clients, always consider skin integrity, medications, medical history, comfort, and treatment status before beginning.

Her skin looks beautiful at 88. 🤍 Sometimes the best technique is simply knowing when to be gentle.

A little policy reminder going forward 🤍

As a small business, I truly appreciate every client who books with me and supports my business. To keep things fair and consistent for everyone, I wanted to clarify a few policies regarding promotions, packages, and gift cards.

✨ Promotional Pricing
Promotions are valid during the dates advertised. If you see a promotion but your appointment will be scheduled for a later date, please reach out during the promotional period. In many cases, you may be able to prepay to secure the promotional price for a future appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to contact me before the promotion ends.

✨ Treatment Packages
Packages are intentionally created as a treatment plan, especially when we are working toward corrective skincare goals. They are meant to be completed within the recommended timeframe for the best results. All packages must be used within 6 months of purchase.

✨ Gift Cards
Going forward, promotional and holiday gift certificates must be redeemed within 6 months, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

I completely understand that life happens, and I will always do my best to work with my clients when reasonable. At the same time, these policies allow me to operate my small business sustainably and fairly.

A little update 🤍
After nearly 10 years in the Chula Vista/Eastlake area, I decided it was time for a change and to explore what growing Fifth Element Beauty in a different part of San Diego could look like.

I’m excited to now have a 2nd beautiful space in North Park, allowing me to serve my Central San Diego clients, those coming from North County, and hopefully some new faces along the way. 🙏🏽🤍

North Park availability will be limited. The space is shared with an operating permanent makeup studio, primarily between 10 AM–3 PM, so you may occasionally hear normal studio activity during those hours. I always want to be transparent about that and appreciate your understanding as I settle into the space. Most of my availability will be evenings and weekends ( unless requested ) , when the studio is much quieter.

And I’m not leaving my South Bay clients behind! I’m currently working on a second South Bay location ( Bonita/Sweetwater Rd) and hope to officially announce that very soon. ✨

This transition has been something I’ve considered for years, and I’m excited to see where this new chapter. I’m especially grateful to my family for all of their support in making the North Park studio possible. 🤍

If you want to be seen in the mornings in North Park you can always text me. I always want to be transparent about that and appreciate your understanding as I settle into the space. Most of my availability will be evenings and weekends, when the studio is much quieter.

And I’m not leaving my South Bay clients behind! I’m currently working on a second South Bay location and hope to officially announce that very soon. ✨
