I wanted to share something personal with you all. As some of you may know my son has epilepsy. This journey has been rough for our family. Over the last 2 weeks we had 2 scary medical emergencies involving my son. A simple fever & a fall triggered a series of serious seizures. It honestly was one of the most frightening experiences we’ve ever been through.

Because of his condition, even common illnesses that only cause a tickle in your throat can cause a fever that can put him at risk for life-threatening seizures. As his mom, I do everything I can to reduce the chances of bringing illnesses home. I wear masks at work during sick seasons & disinfect everything I can.

With that in mind, I ask that if you are feeling unwell or if you have or had recent symptoms such as a fever, cough, drainage, vomiting, diarrhea, & any other contagious illness, please reschedule your appointment. Even if you think it is allergies, please reschedule. There will NOT be a cancellation fee for canceling due to illness. Your health is important, and I’d much rather see you when you’re feeling better.

Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and consideration. Protecting my son means everything to me, and I truly appreciate the support in helping keep him safe.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Rune Juicery + Plant-Based Market! This new business officially opened for business at 9am at 1609 Chase Ave. Woot!

Rune was founded in Mariemont, making this the second location for owner Caleb Cornelius, who grew up on Cherry St. in Northside.

The business specializes in superfoods, juices, smoothies, herbal teas, and plant-based bites with an all-vegan menu that offers many gluten-free options and only uses natural sweeteners like honey and maple syrup.

To start, Rune will be open 9am-9pm 7 days/week, so stop by for a cold-pressed juice, wellness shot or healthy fare!
