Working alongside a dermatologist myself, I understand the love the medical side has for this super gentle brand. However, I also love to educate people on why estheticians would rather you use stronger skincare to target and treat your specific skin concerns. We want results from the skincare alone, and want to take a holistic approach to correct and repair the skin, not medication. I want to be clear though that medication is not a bad thing, and is sometimes necessary, but instead of resorting to aggressive medication first, why not see if good skincare was truly the only thing you had to implement? In the long run, it will save you time and money. ✨ONE MONTH DIFFERENCE✨
This patient saw me a month ago for a facial and was sent home with some recommended ZO skincare products. I was pleased to see how much of an improvement I was able to give her skin in only 4 weeks! When you pair skincare with your treatments, this is the results you can obtain! We are going to do a chemical peel on this sweet lady next appointment to even out any remaining texture/pigmentation. Remember, progress > perfection. I can only imagine how she'll look next month! I am so passionate about what I do and when I get results like this my heart becomes so full!

✨ONE FACIAL = TREAT, MANY FACIALS = TREATMENT✨
This is something so many estheticians have to relay to their clients. They ask: “why is my skin not cleared after 1 facial?” To their surprise, skin does not transform overnight. Sure, the skin can look brighter and more balanced, but the skin cells we treat at one appointment are not the same ones the next month. We have to work to correct the generational gaps between damaged cells and normal cells, which is 28 days. That’s why your esthetician wants to see you back at 4 weeks!

On another note, people believe if the facial is not a hydrafacial or something of more strength, there is no benefit to getting regular (aka fluffy) facials. This is not true!!! Facials are a great way to improve lymphatic drainage, promote circulation, and de-stress. As an esti, I love to be a therapist when my clients needs someone to talk to, or a comforter when my clients want to just be quiet and relax. Whatever the reason may be for you, I want to accommodate that.
