Knowing that it’s okay to shed your current identity when your working towards a greater purpose is a key skill to have. What worked in one season may not work in another. I felt like I was so focused on making sure everything was clean and professional that I robbed myself of expressing my creative abilities. But spending time with God & myself showed me that I was blocking my own gates by trying to fit in the box of “structured posting” because I forgot that I started barbering in order to be expressive. So even with the resistance I may get from older barbers and how they feel I “should” post in order to be a good barber. I’ll say I don’t want to be a good or great barber I just want to be me and express me as much as I can through my work. As long as I can do that while saving money and investing I have no choice but to be happy since I came from section 8 housing to living in my purpose I just pray my efforts inspire others y’all can keep the clout. The greatest blessing is to be a blessing. ❄️🙏🏽
