Change is very hard ,but let's go for it.
I have contacted most, if not all, my clients over the last week, thru text, or phone calls. I have decided to leave my shop and not return . My surgery, did not go as planned, and my docs have informed me, that I will not be back to normal, for at least a year. I kinda disagreed with them, I cannot remember the last time, I was ever normal.
I do not know my future ,as of today, with Beachland Hair Designs. I'm working with a few people, to take it over. I will however, be working at my home. Very limited on days and services.
I really want to Thank everyone who supported me over many many years. I have been in the field since 1978. And of course my guys who worked along side of me. Joe Zadell, Toto Briganti, and Daniel Lariccia .
Currently the shop remains open with Linda, Angelina and Perry.
Change is hard ,but it can bring on something else, something beautiful, or something more sustainable. We might never know, unless we change. Love to all. Susan M Brandt

Good Morning! Hope everyones Mothers Day was awesome! The weather sure was great! Some lite business news here at Beachland Hair Design. After , over 50 years in business , Vince Gelgotos, from Vinces barber shop on 185th, has sold his building and is joining Beachland Hair Designs. Vince created the barber wars on 185th Street, back in the 80's by reducing the price of his haircuts to under 1.00. His moto "We need your head to stay in business", was the method to which he accumulated a very healthy clientele. We wish the new owners, and Vince, all the best as we navigate thru all the changes. Vince bring with him his coworker Linda.
