What an amazing turnout for our Kongo Barbershop Back-to-School Haircut Event! 🦍💈🎒✂️
We’re so grateful for everyone who came out and made this event such a great day for our community! ❤️
📸 If you recognize someone in our Photo Booth photos, please tag them so they can see and share their picture! 😃
Thank you to all the families, kids, barbers, volunteers, vendors, and supporters who helped make this day possible.
Three shop. One standard. One community. 🦍💈
Fresno, you can argue about teams all season, but nobody argues with a clean cut.
Football weekends put you in front of everyone you know, whether that is the stadium, a tailgate, or a couch full of your crew, so get the cut lined up before the first game.
Kongo has three shops across Fresno and Clovis with one standard in every chair, which means the fade you get at one is the same fade you get at the other two. Every chair is a licensed barber who works with every hair type, and Fresno voted us Best of Central California in 2024 and again in 2026.
Book online at kongobarbershop.com or walk in to whichever shop is closest. 🏈
Fresno, thank you for standing in that line on a Sunday.
To every parent who brought their kids through our doors, to the twelve barbers who spent the whole day here, and to the two stylists who held down the back stations, this does not happen without you.
Thank you to the DJ and all the vendors who filled the lot, it wouldn’t be the same without you guys!
We started this in 2022 with six barbers, and the only reason it keeps getting bigger is that people keep showing up. 🙏
Book anytime at kongobarbershop.com
Here’s a idea of tomorrow event 9am-3pm
Fresno Unified asked us out to their Back to School Drive, and it wasn’t even a question. August 6, Booth 26 inside Maya Theaters, we gave free cuts from 8 to 11. Not every family can swing a haircut the week before school starts, and we know what that feels like. Most of our barbers got their first cuts from their parents in the garage.
This community shows up for us every single day. Giving back isn’t something extra we do. It’s the whole reason we’re here. 💈
Thank you Fresno Unified for the opportunity. Book at kongobarbershop.com. Fresno, Clovis, North Clovis.
