The leaves remind us: there is beauty in changing. šš
Every season of life offers something worth embracingāa new perspective, a fresh beginning, a deeper appreciation for the ordinary.
Take a walk. Pause beneath the trees. Make room for moments that leave you feeling present and grateful.
Healthy aging includes building strength, nourishing your body, and finding joy along the way.
Whatās one thing youāre grateful for in this season of your life? āØ
Iām not gonna lie, this has been a year of transformation for me! I am loving life and feel fantastic- letās do this. Follow me for more uplifting posts!
Apparently after 60, wellness is just one long math problem. š
I did the things. So I earned the credit - right?
Keep life fun while not overdoing anything. Laugh daily. Love always and be grateful for all you have.
Being 61 is a little bit confusing⦠and I absolutely love it. šš¤
Most days Iām thinking about retirement.
Other days Iām lifting weights like Iām training for the next 40 years. šŖ
My friends and I can go from talking about our kids and grandkids to protein, skincare, sleep, dating, travel, and whatever wellness habit weāre currently obsessed withāall in the same conversation. š
And Friday nights?
I used to think staying home meant I was missing out.
Now give me a good dinner, comfortable pajamas, my husband, my nighttime routine, and an early bedtime and I am THRILLED. š
Getting older has taught me something I wish I understood sooner:
You donāt become less of yourself with age.
You actually start becoming MORE yourself.
You care less about impressing everyone.
You protect your time.
You take your health more seriously.
You wear what makes you feel beautiful.
You travel when you can.
You laugh at things that used to stress you out.
You wake up with complete gratitude for all you have.
And somehow life gets simpler while also becoming a lot more interesting.
So no, I donāt want my 30s back.
Iām having way too much fun being 61. š¤āØ
Anyone else in this era with me? šš

āYouāre aging backwards.ā
Thanks. I think itās the peptides!
But in all seriousnessāaging well isnāt about trying to be 25 again.
Itās about keeping your muscle.
Protecting your metabolism.
Having energy.
Staying strong.
And using the tools we have available to support the body as it changes.
Because getting older is mandatory.
Feeling old? That part deserves a conversation.
Want to understand why your metabolism may be strugglingāand what nutrition, lifestyle + modern science can actually do about it?
Last year at this time I said āNOā to HRT and any kind of injections just to help me feel better. Well I decided I didnāt want to spend the rest of my life at 61 years old feeling lazy and overweight watching the world pass me by. I made an appointment for a functional medicine assessment where I asked some important questions like, āarenāt we supposed to age and feel crappy, thatās how God intended humans to be.ā
āGod also gave us the ability to learn, innovate, create and adapt to being betterā, they said.
Wow! So I went for it. Got on HRT and a GLP, learned how to do a subcutaneous injection and within a week I could already tell a difference in how well I was starting to feel.
Now, one year later I am down 20 lbs and at my goal weight, I am happy and I am LOVING life! Donāt let opinions and fear prevent you from feeling like your best self. Educate - donāt assume. Life is too precious to get caught up in belief systems that may not be true for you.
If you want a free assessment by a team of medical professionals I can guide you through this for free or comment TELE for a free guide.
I want others to feel as good as I do! I plan on sticking around for another 30+ years and I want them to be good š
