I just wanted to hop one here and make that one post that happens to be happening alot in the beauty industry...

Let's talk about why the business professionals have a policy to protect the way they handle their business.

I run my small but mighty esthectics buissness as a solo Esthectian and I'm a one man show.. I provide a variety of services throughout the day as a one stop shop for most and sometimes they can be multiple services in one appointment so booking is sometimes limited for clients when they want to book. I am very communicative with everyone and try to respond as quickly as I can to provide great customer/client service!

I Value your time as much as you should value mine.
I take pride in what I do, always striving for the best on quality and knowledge so I can provide Luxe services.

When I get cancelations or reschedule requests with in the 48hrs which 50% of the service will be charged to card provided on file, (i have a whole policy on my booking site you review before making and appointment) I can have a little wiggle room to let another lovely client have opportunity to book if needed and I can fill slot. When I get a last min cancelation/reschedule I might not have that possibility to do so. When i get No call and No Showed and i enforce to collect 100% of service with card on file, If ran collectly (sometimes declined) I can have at least paid time for the loss, if not I get 0 nothing besides lost time and money.
In results, I have a missed opportunity to fill in my book and be able to run my hussle for the day and run my business successfully. So not only i have lost time sitting there waiting, i now have lost product that I have set aside for you (which everything has gone up for all beauty professionals) and everything that was set for your requested time slot. It's definitely not fair from my end when my system sends reminders at least 72hrs to 48hrs in advance.
I will say, if it were the other way around and the beauty professional is running late or stood the client up, it results on client leaving a negative review for their experience and bring down the business for everyone to see. Clients don't see the Buissness owners experience.

Please have courtesy of the beauty industry & small business owners. We are running our goals and dreams and choose this career to help pay bills, put food on the table for family and get ahead in these tough times.
