It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and longtime LeTip member, Jim Walsh.

For many years, Jim was an important part of the LeTip of Howard County family. He was a trusted professional, a loyal friend, and someone who made our chapter better simply by being part of it. His kindness, generosity, and steady presence will be deeply missed.

Tomorrow morning, we will gather to celebrate Jim’s life and the lasting impact he had on our chapter and on so many people within our community.

We would like to extend an invitation to all past and present LeTip members, along with anyone whose life was touched by Jim, to join us as we remember him together.

It was wonderful to see familiar faces supporting an organization dedicated to helping older adults remain active, connected, and independent in Howard County.
We’re also proud to share that fellow LeTip member Marian Berman serves on the board of The Village in Howard — thank you for your leadership and service!

As Black History Month comes to a close, LeTip of Howard County proudly recognizes the leadership, professionalism, and impact of our African American members.

Each of these business owners and entrepreneurs strengthens our chapter through service, referrals, collaboration, and community involvement.

We are grateful for their contributions and honored to celebrate them this month and throughout the year.

Today we celebrated something special. 🎉

Our longtime LeTip of Howard County member, Sullivan “Sully” Brown Sr., turned 86 — and a few of our members treated him to lunch to mark the occasion.

This is what LeTip is all about.

Yes, we build business.
Yes, we exchange qualified referrals.
But more importantly, we build real friendships and celebrate life’s milestones together.

Sully represents Shaklee Health & Wellness in our chapter, and he exemplifies consistency, positivity, and commitment — both in business and in life.
