As we look ahead to 2026, I’d like to share a friendly reminder that I’ve fully transitioned to the Squire system for scheduling. If you haven’t already booked your appointments, I highly recommend scheduling in advance. Moving forward, availability will be based exclusively on what’s shown in the online system.

2026 Booking is Now Open!

I wanted to start by sending a huge thank you for your patience over the last few months. Moving to our new location and switching booking systems (from Square to Squire) was a big project, and your support made all the difference. I’m so grateful.

I'm excited to let you know that the transition is complete, and my 2026 schedule is now live and open for booking in the new Squire system!

There’s one important update for 2026:
To ensure everyone gets a fair, easy, and real-time booking experience, I will no longer be booking appointments in salon or by email, phone, or text. All appointments must be booked online through the Squire system.

How to Book for 2026:

· Or, you can continue to visit my website as usual: [jbrownstudiosc.com] — the "Schedule Appointment" button will take you straight to the same scheduling page.

The new system is user-friendly and lets you see all available times, manage your appointments, and confirm everything instantly.

Its Official!

Cheryl and I will start seeing clients at our sister location, 2737 River Drive, on Monday September 29th. Please read this email thoroughly, but also know that the two most pertinent details include the new address and that your appointment date and time will remain the same.

Four parking spaces are available in front of the building. There is also ample street parking on Beaufort Street. You will notice handicap parking on Beaufort, but that is only applicable on Sunday.
If you are one of my clients (Jasper) the only thing changing at the moment is our location. I will be switching to our new scheduling system, Squire, in January. Booking for 2026 will be available through the Squire system no later than December 1st. My business number will remain the same, any questions please text 803-446-4472. If you have my personal number ending in 5192, I will no longer be responding to work related messages there, please save my work number.
If you are one of Cheryl's Clients, she will be migrating all of her existing appointments over to the Squire system over the next week. You should receive a text or email from Squire confirming that transition. Once all appointments have been moved over we will open online booking with Cheryl through Squire. For all future communication about appointments with Cheryl please contact her directly at 803-201-0082.
We will communicate how to schedule through the Squire system once it is available.
As with all transitions, there will be hiccups along the way. Please be patient with us and allow us time to communicate further details as needed.

We are moving!

Hello Friends!

We have some big news! To create an even better experience for you, we're packing up and moving to our sister location at 2737 River Drive.

Our moving truck will be rolling out sometime between late September and early October. We're still pinning down the exact date, so we appreciate your patience as we get everything sorted. No need to contact us-you'll be the first to know!

We promise to give you plenty of heads-up with the official date and all the details once we have them locked in.

Big News! We're Moving (But Not Far!) Click here for an update from J BROWN STUDIO!

Hello Friends!

As some of you may have noticed, both Cheryl and myself are now consistently booking 4-6 weeks out, even further in some cases. The waitlist is a great tool if you are looking to get in as soon as possible but given how booked we are, we cannot guarantee that you will get in just by adding yourself to the waitlist. We highly recommend also booking the first available appointment that works for your schedule in the event that there isn’t a cancellation that will accommodate your waitlist request. Because the waitlist asks you to put in a desired date range, once that date range passes you are no longer on the waitlist. . .meaning you will no longer receive notifications of last-minute openings. By adding yourself to the waitlist AND booking an appointment you ensure that you have an appointment but are also notified if something becomes available sooner.

We have also received feedback that the online booking site isn’t functioning properly. In almost every instance it is a matter of there being no availability in the desired range. If you do not see an available appointment, please expand your date range as it is very likely that we just have nothing available until further out on the schedule.

Unfortunately, she has been very sick over the last week, but we’re hopeful she’ll be back to work in the next day or two!
