Curly Hair Stylist & Independent Educator Kristy has always had a creative eye & knack for making things beautiful.
She uses that keen artful eye in her career as a hairstylist and makeup artist. She learned her foundation of haircutting & hair coloring through Paul Mitchell, & graduated with honors. She has a passion for curly hair, & wanted to hone in on her skills with different textures of curly hair. That passion led her to attend the DevaChan Advanced Curl Academy in NYC, where she received her certificat
ion as an Advanced Devacurl Architect. Along with her Devacurl certification, she attended a precision haircutting workshop in Atlanta with Daniel Joseph Muldoon, the owner of The Factory in San Diego, California. She has also gained her makeup artist certification through Paul Mitchell’s renowned makeup artist, Debra Dietrich. She has also worked behind the scenes with Columbia Style Week. She enjoys working on photo shoots and editorial, along with haircutting & hair coloring. Kristy loves to learn different techniques within the beauty industry, & is constantly taking workshops or classes to stay inspired in her career. She also stays inspired through music, fashion, art, & pop culture.
