Miss Ohio Star AmeriFest

Happy Birthday to the BEST DIRECTOR! My prayer for you today is that you are not only abundantly blessed but that you enjoy your day! I love you Carrie Layne and I thank you for welcoming me so warmly!

I love that my pageant life gives me opportunities to experience new things! Yesterday I attended the unique Pickle Festival in Cleveland! Yep, you guessed it this Festival was all about green and everything dill and pickle! From lemonade to pizza to snacks to ice cream and sauces and seasonings; there was something for everyone! If that was too out of the box you could always snag a plain dill pickle on a stick or a container of slices like me! #

This past weekend I also attended the European festival! I had alot of fun sharing AmeriFest and participating in the activities! Check out the video in the comment section below!

This weekend I attended the Strongsville Annual Harvest Festival at Strongsville Historical Village! I not only got to tour the historical buildings but I also toured the war museum and got the chance to speak with a WWII veteran about not only AmeriFest but also his experiences! I am so blessed!

Last month I had the opportunity to volunteer at the National Federation of the Blind outreach event! It was wonderful meeting new people and also sharing about AmeriFest! Thank you Ms Suzanne Turner for including me and allowing me the opportunity to share AmeriFest!

Sorry for the late post! Thank you so much to Michael Cook and Cook Studio for my AMAZING crown and sash photos last month! I had such a great time and the cookies...? 😋 Thank you to Taylor Wilhoite for my hair and makeup! You truly know how to make a girl feel special!

In honor of all of you who have made me feel so welcomed here in our Ohio, Great Lakes and At Large pageant family... Happy Friendship Day! May your day be filled with peace and joy and my hope is that you will be intentional about pouring into someone else's friendship cup today! Share a call, a smile or a kind word with someone. It does make a difference! # #

Our Miss Ohio Festivals Pageant / AmeriFest Pageant and Miss Great Lakes Festival Pageants / AmeriFest Pageants royalty and staff want to wish our 2026 Miss Ohio Star AmeriFest, AKA our 2026 Miss U.S. Star AmeriFest, Tomeika, the happiest of birthdays! Have the most incredible day and eat lots of sweet treats!

Sorry for the late post... Traveling to North Carolina for the national pageant I had to experience Bucee's! #

Day 4: Why did you choose to compete at AmeriFest Nationals?

I chose to compete because I wanted to challenge myself! AmeriFest creates a welcoming inclusive place for all and I wanted to not only be a part of that but to meet others, celebrate inclusion and show other persons with blindness what is possible
