I’m doing everything I can to work out appointments for as many people as possible. I ask that if you have reached out to me and I have not gotten back to you yet please be patient. It’s with great sadness that I have to say Shears To Ya will not be reopening. Of course this is upsetting but it also will be opening the door to new opportunities. Hello Everyone.
I just wanted to take a moment to address the current situation we find ourselves in due to the Covid19 outbreak. I know a lot of you are reaching out and eager to have your hair done. I’d like nothing more than to be able to give an accurate update as to when we will be able to get back to business. Unfortunately, at this time that situation is still very much so to be determined. Like so many industries we are waiting for instruction from the state informing us that it is not only safe for us to get back to work with customers, but also a safe environment for my fellow stylists and I to return to work. As soon as those details are available I’ll make sure you’re updated. Until that point I hope you and your families stay safe and know that I can not wait to get back to doing your hair!

I know your roots are bad, I know your hair will be too long and you won't feel like yourself. I would love to go back to work but I can't, our industry can't. When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please don't blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more.
Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. We sit patiently waiting, like you, for answers or reassurance of some sort. With uncertain clarity, we hope and pray that you will be back to us soon and our industry comes back stronger than ever! 🙏

This saddens me but, I know it is for the best. This is a very hard time for all and I hope to see everyone when we are able to reopen. Let's all work together in picking each other up and support our local small businesses. Everybody stay safe and wash your hands!
