I didn’t walk out of that interview thinking, “I nailed it.”

Honestly? I didn’t.

I was expecting one kind of interview and got something completely different. I had to think on the fly and that’s never been my strength.

It reminded me of doing hair.

Sometimes the haircut doesn’t go exactly as planned.
Sometimes the color has other ideas.

You adjust.
You adapt.
You do the best you can with what’s in front of you.

And that’s enough.

Not every moment has to be perfect to help you grow.
