When I began my journey into Craniosacral work, I knew I wanted to help people heal from trauma. And I guess my prayer made it straight to the heavens because I've had SO many clients with C-PTSD and PTSD make their way to me, and while I can hold space, I've often wished I had more of a blueprint for helping people truly integrate their memories and release their big emotions.

I started following Dr. Liz Burkholder with Go Within Institute early last year and continued to receive emails about her Hypno-Breathwork Somatic program. I'd already taken a month-long somatic course but didn't feel like it gave me the necessary tools to truly move that TRAUMA energy out of the tissues.

I'm SO excited to announce that I've been accepted into Dr. Liz's four-month program and I start with a six-hour intensive TODAY 🥳

I don't yet know how this is going to integrate into the work I already offer, but I WILL figure it out as I learn and grow, and add to my skills. I've always wanted to help people. From the time I was a little girl, I can remember people telling me I had an "Old Soul". And as I grew into an adult, I'm the person strangers sit next to in a waiting room and tell their life's story to. I've absolutely never taken that privilege for granted. I want nothing more than to be a safe place for people to land when they're ready to heal.

I've gone through my own journey of healing, which has included fours years of Parts Work, EMDR, Brain Retraining (through Primal Trust), and MORE, but my truest breakthroughs came when I learned to be in my body again with breathwork, yoga, meditation, and somatic exercises. And that's why I chose Dr. Liz's program.

I'm so excited to offer this work and help my clients feel safe in their bodies again 💜 Give me four-months and I'll be ready!

This week I got brave and introduced myself and my work on a local Facebook group—including my booking link 🫣

But it worked, and I brought in a new client! I gave her a massage this morning and she said she’d had eight different massage therapists over the years and my massage was “top notch” and “one of the best” 😭🥹

Now I do think massage opinions are incredibly subjective, but I’ll just relish the good review like the over-achiever I am 😂💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️🏆

I really do put my whole heart into my work! 🤲✨🥹

Behold: my dinner 🤤🤩

“What is THAT?” you may be thinking, and I’ll tell you. . .it is a bowl of roasted turnips and it’s one of my favorite foods in the whole world.

I CRAVE turnips so much I researched their nutritional offerings and they are LOADED with health benefits ✅

I’ll attach an article so I can sing the praise of this special root.

I peel mine, chop off the ends, dice them, toss them in oil, dump them on a pan, sprinkle with salt and garlic powder, and roast at 425 for 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Easy, and more than worth it!

Who else loves turnips?? 🙋🏻‍♀️

I love roasted vegetables, but turnips are pretty close to my favorite—if not the winner 🏆 🫜

I had my work sheets in the back of my car and one of my daughters was bringing a friend on an errand with us.

My daughter told her friend, “Don’t touch anything. Naked bodies touch these sheets.” 😂😂😂

For the record—in Swedish massage, clients are completely draped the entire time. That’s why I have sheets!!

Massage is very clinical to me, but my kids think my job is so weird 😆🤷🏻‍♀️
