Hair loss is a symptom. The question is: WHY is your hair disappearing?
Two people can have thinning in the exact same area and be dealing with two completely different things.
That’s why seeing thinning edges, crown hair loss, a widening part, thinning locs, bald spots or excessive shedding and immediately reaching for a “hair growth” product may be skipping the most important part of the conversation.
What is contributing to the hair loss?
Hormonal changes.
Traction and chronic tension.
Alopecia.
Genetics.
Stress.
Nutritional deficiencies.
Medication or health-related changes.
Scalp conditions.
And sometimes — we simply don’t know yet.
That distinction matters.
Because as I expand my 17+ years of experience working with locs and textured hair into hair + scalp restoration, one thing I refuse to do is look at every thinning scalp and say, “Yep, I can grow that back.”
That isn’t responsible.
Some hair may be capable of being supported and preserved. Some situations may require changes in loc maintenance and styling. And some people need evaluation by a dermatologist or medical provider before I would ever be comfortable beginning a restoration service.

I’M READY. And this time, I’m looking for 10 people who are ready too. 🤎
For years, I’ve worked with clients who were watching their hair change right in front of them — thinning edges, disappearing density, weakening locs, crown loss, bald or patchy areas — and many of them had gotten to the point where they felt like there was nothing left to do.
I knew I wanted to do more than simply camouflage the problem.
So I’ve been quietly training, learning and working hands-on in hair + scalp restoration, and I’ve now completed multiple sessions with my first hair-loss model.
Now I’m ready for the next phase.
I am selecting my first 10 Founding Restoration Clients — men AND women, with or without locs — who are experiencing concerns such as thinning edges or hairline, crown/top thinning, visible scalp, thinning locs at the root, patchy areas or beard thinning.
This is NOT me promising everybody hair growth.
Hair loss is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is restoration. My first responsibility is understanding what you’re experiencing, your history, what may be within my scope to address and when you may need evaluation from a dermatologist or other medical professional.
What I am looking for are people who are serious about finding out what options may still be available to them and are willing to be consistent with the process.

Youngest client in my chair to date for starter locs ! But also the bravest and most resilient ! He sat through this entire appointment like the champ that he is ! It wasn’t easy for either of us but he made my heart smile the entire time! Y’all he cried and pushed through and cried and pushed through and Im forever grateful it was me that God gave the patience to get him started on his loc journey . Im super proud of him and he looks soooo handsome with his new starter locs and style ! My heart is happy! Yall know I LOVE the kids! All I know is … I’ve been learning to trust a plan that clearly much bigger than mine for about 5 years now…
My faith has never been so tested as it has behind Los’s these last 5 years. Whether it’s been people, relationships, and everything in between!
I’ve lost so much!
But God still provides protects guides and strengthens me daily!
I don’t know what’s next . I just know I’m tired of losing people, places, things...
But I trust him!
I’ve been hearing it for yearssssss….
What y’all think the people really be saying when they get up from the shampoo bowl ?! 🤣😅
There’s a reason ppl always compliment my locs… the thickness.. the rapid growth… the health of my HAIR not just how good a style looks when I get my hair done…
Honestly … this is 8.5 years of daily consistency! Nothing more ! Nothing less! Simple things done daily ! That have led to crazy results!
In growth.
In thickness!
Because a healthy scalp … grows hair ! Period!
Ain’t no quick fix! No instant remedies! No one product!
You gotta show up for your crown … daily !
Your hair and scalp have needs!
and those needs are daily… Not just when you first get your hair done. Your hair needs to be shampooed more frequently. It needs to be moisturize routine routinely. It needs to be covered and protected daily when necessary. It seriously doesn’t take much. It just takes intention.
Personally … I understood those needs long ago! And have catered to those same needs for others for over 17 years. I’m not figuring it out. I’m not guessing . I understand hair science . I understand what your crown needs. I love on mine daily!
