Some experiences go far beyond the photos.

One of my goals during this trip to Poland was to immerse myself in the Slavic beauty industry, exchange professional knowledge, and gain inspiration from one of the most creative markets in Europe.

I had the privilege of visiting Jaga Hupało’s Academy at the Lace Factory, where Jaga warmly welcomed me, shared her creative vision, and gave me a glimpse into her inspiring work.

Later, she invited me to a remarkable event at the Królikarnia Art Gallery, celebrating the legacy of Antoni Cierplikowski (Antoine de Paris)—the legendary hairdresser whose creativity and innovation revolutionized our profession and continue to inspire hairstylists around the world.

The exhibition beautifully explored the connection between art and hairstyling, showing how Antoni’s vision continues to influence creativity today. Seeing this combination of history, fashion, photography, and hair artistry was a truly inspiring experience.

I am sincerely grateful to Jaga for her warm hospitality, the inspiring conversations, and for making me feel so welcome. Moments like these remind me that learning has no borders and that our profession becomes even richer when we share knowledge across cultures.

I return to Miami with fresh ideas, new inspiration, and even greater admiration for the artistic heritage of our industry.
