Your at-home hair care matters way more than people realize. Your shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant, masks, oils, water temperature, heat styling… all of it can affect how quickly your color fades, how long your gloss lasts, and how your hair feels between appointments.

I get your hair for a few hours every 6–12 weeks. You get it every single day in between.

So yes, I will always do everything I can behind the chair to give you beautiful, healthy hair,,, but I can’t always control what happens once you leave my chair.
But I can help! I don’t want you buying random professional products just because they smell good or TikTok told you to. I can help curate an at-home routine specifically for your hair - your color, texture, concerns, styling habits, budget, and how much effort you realistically want to put into it. Maybe you need a full routine. Maybe you just need a good shampoo + conditioner and ONE product that actually makes a difference. We can figure that out together.

Hey. It’s late (for me anyway😆) but I have to share something that’s been on my heart lately💛

I’ve always said, “It’s just hair.” Sounds funny coming from someone who does hair for a living, I know. But I believed that long before I became a hairstylist. I love feeling pretty, having my hair fixed, and feeling put together. And when my hair or tan doesn’t look good, I don’t always feel my best either.

But there’s a difference between FEELING beautiful and KNOWING you’re beautiful.

I’ve been reading a lot about women in the Bible. Tonight I was reading in 1 Peter, specifically chapter 3. I kept coming back to this in verses 3 and 4: our beauty isn’t found in our appearance, but in who we are on the inside.
There’s nothing wrong with fixing up. Those things just aren’t what determines our beauty. We change. Some seasons we feel confident; others we hardly recognize ourselves. But God’s view of us doesn’t change.

Something not many people know is that I also do hair at funeral homes. It’s something I feel especially called to do. It is incredibly humbling to be trusted to help someone look their best one last time, and helping a family see their loved one looking like themselves. They can’t look in the mirror and tell me they love their hair. But their family can recognize the person they love. If I can bring even a little comfort on one of their hardest days, that means more than I can explain.

And I think that’s what I want people to understand about why I love what I do. It’s so much more than hair to me, even though I’ll always be the first to say, “It’s just hair.” I love helping women feel beautiful. I love seeing their confidence when they look in the mirror. But I never want anyone to believe their beauty depends on what I, or anyone else, can do for them. Honey, you were beautiful when you walked in. I hope you can love the way you look on your best days, and still love who you are on your worst.

Because at the end of the day, you can appreciate the beauty on the outside without forgetting where your worth comes from.🫶🏼
