“Collagen stacking” is our way of describing a thoughtfully planned combination of treatments that address different aspects of skin aging.

XERF and Helix CO₂ encourage collagen remodeling through different technologies, while DermaV addresses selected vascular and pigment concerns. Together, they can complement one another in a personalized treatment plan.

Here’s how each fits:

Helix fractional CO₂ treatments address concerns such as fine lines, rough texture, and selected acne scars while encouraging collagen remodeling. Options range from lighter CoolPeel treatments to more intensive resurfacing, depending on your skin and recovery preferences.

You may benefit from one treatment or a combination. We’ll recommend the sequence and spacing based on your skin type, concerns, and healing needs; combining treatments does not necessarily mean having them all on the same day.

We recommend drinking 2 to 3 liters of water the day before and the morning of your XERF treatment. Spread your intake out—don’t drink it all at once—and continue staying hydrated afterward.

If you have a prescribed fluid restriction, follow your clinician’s guidance and let our team know before your appointment.
