Seton Hall dorm fire survivors return to NJ to tell their story It has been 19 years since a devastating fire inside a dormitory at Seton Hall University killed three students and injured more than 50 others.

After the Fire - Come and watch and hear about the story of the Seton Hall University dorm fire and the heroine story of survival, friendship and forgiveness as fire survivors Shawn Simons and Alvaro Llanos share their unforgettable story about the fire, their road to recovery and their lasting friendship.

Wednesday, February 27th - 7 p.m. at the LaSells Stewart Center. Admission is free and refreshments are providing while you mingle with Shawn and Alvaro.

Fire Safety Achievement Trophy points handed out to all those in attendance from a housed fraternity, sorority or private co-op!

Show Shawn and Al your support by coming out and spending time with them. You'll be uplifted and inspired.... Guaranteed!

- Make sure your place is safe before you leave: turn off and unplug appliances, make sure your heat is still on while you are away, provide clearance around all heaters, close bedroom doors, lock ALL doors and windows, if you are the last one out, take one last look before you close the door behind you and give a neighbor your contact information.

- Travel safe: allow plenty of time for travel, make sure you are adequately rested before driving long distances, review road conditions before heading out and plan accordingly, DON'T TAKE CHANCES!

4 bodies recovered in San Marcos apartment fire Authorities say a fourth victim was recovered late Sunday night after a deadly fire at an off-campus apartment complex in San Marcos.
