Sparkling Soirées Wedding Planning & Design

We get asked this all the time, so here are some tips for your Wedding Morning Beauty Prep!💫

✨1. Clean + Dry Hair:
Please arrive with clean, completely dry hair. ⚠️We do not offer blow-outs. This will cut into styling time. Avoid heavy oils or leave-in products unless instructed otherwise. No greasy hair.

✨2. Setup Space:
The artist will take care of setting up their tools, but we kindly ask for a suitable space:
- At Home: A kitchen or dining table is the most convenient setup near natural light and electrical outlets.
- At Hotels: A spot near the window for natural light works best, make sure room has a chair or bench and we need a table or large area to set up all of our tools/products on.

✨3. Skin Prep:
⁠Please come with a clean face. Avoid applying foundation, mascara, or heavy skincare products like SPF or oils before the session. Make sure brows are cleaned up ahead of your makeup session.

✨4. ⁠Timing ⏱️:
Be ready and in the room at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled timeslot to keep the day on track, so we have ample time to beautify the bride at the end and make sure you are on-time to start photos.
If multiple people are getting services, please have them nearby and prepared for their turn.

✨5. After Makeup Care:
Please be mindful when eating or drinking right after your session. Use a straw when possible, and take small bites to help preserve your lipstick and makeup. (Finger foods are best, sandwiches are not ideal)

✨6. Touch-up Kit:
Bring along your chosen lipstick or gloss for touch-ups throughout the day. We also recommend blotting papers or pressed powder to manage shine. (Bride’s is included)

✨7. What to wear:
Button down shirt/robe so not to mess up makeup/hair when changing.

✨8. Steaming:
Steam your dresses BEFORE makeup/hair services, steam will kill the curls and melt your make up!
