15-ish years of doing her hair, and some things never change 🤍❄️

We’ve gone short, we’ve grown it long, we’ve switched up the cut and style plenty of times over the years… but her request for color has ALWAYS stayed the same:

“As WHITE as possible!” 🤍

So that’s exactly what we did! Bright, icy blonde with a fresh layered cut to give her longer length lots of movement and softness.

After 15 years, I definitely know the assignment.

My mom watched Steel Magnolias so much even I was a kid, I swear that's why I wanted to do hair! Rip Dolly!

A little change without losing the length she loves!

My client (aka Mom! 🥰) came in today ready for something different, but wanted to keep her length around the front. We went with a more dramatic stack in the back and added extra layering through the top to create movement, shape, and plenty of volume.

Sometimes a new shape is all you need to make your hair feel completely refreshed!

It’s not every day a client walks into your salon wearing YOUR FACE on their shirt… reminding everyone just how awesome you are. 😂❤️
But when your client is your dad, I guess he gets to brag a little! 🥹

✨ 11 YEARS AT THE JOYNT! ✨

Today marks my ELEVENTH anniversary at Clip Joynt Co.

The top photo was taken the day of my interview 11 years ago, and looking at it now... it’s crazy to think about just how much life has happened since then.

The salon has changed so much — new ownership 6 years ago, two remodels, and coworkers who have moved on but became lifelong friends along the way. And new ones I love and adore as well!

My personal life has changed just as much! We bought a house, got married, adopted three dogs, and somehow my son will be starting his sophomore year of high school in ONE WEEK, when he hadn't even started preschool when I started here! 🥹 Where does the time go?!

But through every season and every change, one thing has remained constant: my amazing clients.

To those who followed me here 11 years ago, those I've met along the way, and everyone who has continued to sit in my chair, trust me with your hair, support my career, and love and support my family — THANK YOU. ❤️

I truly wouldn't have made it 11 years at CJCo without you. You've become so much more than clients to me — you're my salon family.
