Hello there! As you know I also own JZ's Pub and we are going thru a transition stage. We have opened a Gaming room, increased our kitchen out put, are adding Door Dash today and lost a valued member of our team, all in the last month. I have had to close to accomplish all the necessary task associated with these endeavors. On top of being unable to stabilize my blood pressure. Sigh... the woes of an independent woman, lol. That having been said today is the LAST DAMN TIME IM CLOSED!
I think I need to hire some peeps!

CAUTION!
πΏ Not Everything You Read About Herbs Online Is Accurate πΏ
This beautiful infographic about lemon balm has been making the rounds online. While it's visually appealing, it also highlights an important lesson: a pretty graphic isn't the same thing as reliable herbal education.
As herbalists and plant lovers, we should always ask: π Where did this information come from? π Is it based on traditional use, scientific research, or someone's opinion? βοΈ Does it make claims that are stronger than the available evidence?
Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is an incredible herb with a long history of traditional use. Research suggests it may support relaxation, mood, sleep, and digestive comfort. However, statements like "works better than NSAIDs" or presenting exact dosages and medical outcomes as settled fact require careful context and stronger evidence than many social media graphics provide.
At The Apothecary, we're committed to sharing herbal knowledge responsibly. We celebrate both traditional wisdom and modern research, while recognizing the limits of what we know. Herbs deserve respectβnot hype.
When in doubt, ask questions, look for credible sources, and remember that if something sounds too good to be true, it's worth digging a little deeper.
πΏ Knowledge is one of the most powerful herbs we can cultivate.

Hello friends! Wow it's been a minute since I've been at the shop! With adjustments to my medicine and issues with my other business, I've been completely overwhelmed. I think meds are good now but the issues with my other business is not, and requires me to adjust some stuff. This is why I have not had a grand opening yet. I had a sneaking suspicion that it was going to take a little while to get all of this situated appropriately.
Biggest change is that we will be open on Thursday Friday and Saturday now I'm going to do the 2:00 to 7:00 but that's probably going to change and become earlier hours.
Bear with me as I make these huge adjustments so that I can come back to my sweet little shop full-time. Thank you all so much
So I think I'm finally good! We will reopen Tomorrow at 2pm. See ya then
Sorry folks started new medication and it just has kicked my butt. Hopefully we'll be there tomorrow
