Choosing between powder and liquid foundation doesn’t have to be complicated!

Foundation should enhance your skin! NOT hide it! Here are a few of my favorite tips for a beautiful, natural finish:

✨ Powder foundation is quick, easy, and buildable. Want more coverage? Add light layers instead of applying too much product at once!

✨ Liquid foundation can be applied with a brush or a sponge. A brush typically gives you more coverage, while a damp sponge creates a softer, more natural finish.

✨ Keep your tools clean! Makeup sponges can harbor bacteria over time, so make sure you’re washing them regularly and replacing them when needed!

There isn’t one “perfect” foundation for everyone! It’s all about finding what works best for your skin, your lifestyle, and the look you’re trying to achieve. 🥰

“Am I going to peel like crazy?” 🤔

This is one of the most common questions we get about chemical peels!

One thing I touch on in this video: just because you don’t see a lot of peeling doesn’t mean your peel isn’t working! Peeling is only one possible response… many peels are still stimulating cell turnover, brightening skin, and improving texture even when there’s little to no visible flaking!

The goal isn’t to peel as much as possible. The goal is healthy, glowing skin! ✨

✨ Makeup Monday: Under Eye Concealer + Setting ✨

Let’s talk under eyes…. because less really is more when it comes to concealer! 👀

Here are my 3 go-to tips for a smooth, crease-free finish:

1️⃣ Use LESS concealer
Too much product is what causes creasing and settling into fine lines. Let it sit for a few seconds until it gets slightly tacky before blending!

2️⃣ Tap, DON’T drag
Gently tapping the product in keeps coverage even & prevents it from moving around or breaking apart!

3️⃣ Set it & Forget it
A light dusting of setting powder locks everything in place. Today I’m comparing a L’Oreal powder on one side and La Bella Donna on the other! I personally love the La Bella Donna side for its smoother, more perfected finish. (Available at Skin Solutions 😉)

The goal is always a bright, natural under eye. NOT heavy or cakey coverage!
