Created by master stylist Lauren Rawley. While looking for non-toxic hair care products, I was surprised to discover how many of them still contained damaging and harmful ingredients or didn't work well for me. This inspired me to produce completely toxic-free salon-quality hair care that not only worked, but also performed better than the rest. Why would a master stylist be scouring the shelves of every store and scrolling 20 pages deep for (effective) dry shampoo? I'll tell you why, I developed serious allergies. Believe me when I tell you, and I'll tell you why, I developed serious allergies. After comprehensive testing and truly exhausting my options I followed through with the medical advise to avoid all beauty products and consider a career change. Despite being passionate about my career (15+ years y'all), I made the decision to put my health first and retired from working behind the chair.

A few simple things can tell you a LOT once you know what to look for.

Yes, just like the seasons change, your hair needs change too 👇🏼
When it comes to shampoo + conditioner, most people just grab the matching set… but there’s actually sooo much more to choosing the right ones for your hair.
SHAMPOO = scalp + roots
What’s your biggest issue?
Heavy buildup? Go clarifying.
Dry, damaged + breakage? Go restorative.
Frizz or just need something gentle? Try a daily shampoo.
CONDITIONER = your ends
And that’s where it should stay 👏🏼
Dry + damaged ends? Choose something richer (or even swap it for a mask)
Super fine hair that gets weighed down easy? Go lighter weight or even opt for a leave-in instead.
And as we move into cooler months, there’s typically less humidity in the air, which means your hair may start needing a little more moisture. This is a great time to add a hair mask into your routine a few times a month. 🤎
PRO TIP: If you have super fine hair and feel like conditioner always weighs your hair down, try a conditioner bar!! They give you the conditioning + slip without having to coat your hair in a ton of product.

As someone who formulates non-toxic products for a living, I definitely consider myself crunchier than some 😂 But even I refuse to let myself go down a few of these rabbit holes.
It’s important to remember that clean living isn’t an all-or-nothing thing. You don’t have to do everything, and you definitely don’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.

Still very much in the “what have I done” phase, but also really excited about it. 🐾

I had a customer ask me the other day if our dry shampoo could be bad for their scalp…
And it’s actually a really good question.
The important thing to understand is that powder-based and aerosol dry shampoos work very differently.
Can they both make your hair look cleaner between washes? Absolutely.
But how they get there is where the difference comes in.
