Would you believe me if I told you this isn’t caused by hormones? It was actually caused by a at home microneedling/ chemical peel treatment my lovely client performed on herself. It backfired pretty quickly causing some major hyperpigmentation. This skin concern had to be treated with a lot of at home skincare products specifically designed to calm the skin and relax the melanocytes from further producing pigment.
