Writing this post to remind you that it takes effort every day to make changes and to see progress. Excuses are easy for you to make. Sometimes you feel tired, but sometimes your tiredness comes from low energy. Do what it takes to get off the couch, the phone or whatever is distracting you.

If you seek personal training, make the effort to show up for your session and make the effort to work out more than 2x a week with your trainer. In order to become a better version of yourself, you have to make the commitment. You can fit in a bikini, but are you happy with what you see in the mirror? Are you willing to pay and invest in your health (sessions, foods, supplements, etc)? Are you managing your time? If you have kids, have you found a time slot for when you can commit to yourself?

Setting out half an hour to an hour of your day for yourself is the best commitment you can make. Yes, we are not perfect. We love to binge eat and have fun, but isn’t it better to binge eat in moderation and know you DESERVE it.

Just a reminder that it is perfectly okay to start again, again and again. Do it until you get it down. Do it until you are spending more days taking care of your body and your mind.

You have to start somewhere and it’s worth it! It’s never too late!

Something that I am learning:

It is important to focus on maintaining, always.

It is not about where you are now,
how much you weigh now, or how strong you are now.

No, it's about the little things you do every day to make your body internally feel good.

Work towards, I woke up and damn I feel and look good.

Happy Sunday Funday!

Now, go give your heart some love.

This week has been a test of motivation. Really struggled yesterday with completing my cardio. I had an early morning and had to push out my cardio time. Again, setting a time and committing is a good building block for being accountable. Practicing the “just do it”, can be a little tricky.

Yesterday, I was so exhausted by noon. I took a nap and did not want to get on.
Knowing I was riding with my friend, I told her to go ahead and do her cardio without me.

Then, I had a moment. I decided to text her back and made sure she waited for me.

Turning that no is an excuses. Make it a yes. It may not be your best cardio day, but you will feel accomplished the next day. And that will drive you to have a better workout day.

Taking a minute to appreciate the little progress. Single, married, separated or divorced, it doesn’t matter. What matters most is making an effort, and keeping yourself positive.

Appreciate those good months, days or weeks. Grow from the slow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Feeling a bit blue?
