I help you cut through the confusing world of health and get to the root cause of your symptoms so you can heal from the inside out.
Way too many people are walking around with symptoms like fatigue, bloating, eczema, anxiety and more...and they're told it's normal and there's nothing they can do about it. I strongly believe there is ALWAYS something you can do to improve your health. From my own journey with autoimmune illness; to overcoming my children's struggle with allergies, asthma and eczema; to working with top nutritio
Comparison keeps you focused on someone else’s path instead of your own.
Healing is not about becoming someone else. It is about coming home to yourself.
When we address the root causes of what is holding you back, whether that is chronic symptoms, burnout, inflammation, hormone imbalances, gut dysfunction, toxin burden, or feeling disconnected from your body, you create space to become the healthiest, strongest, most authentic version of you.
That is the goal.
Not perfection. Not comparison. Just you, thriving. 🤍
What is one thing you appreciate about yourself today?

You're counting calories.
You're hitting your protein goal.
You're walking every day.
You're lifting weights.
You're doing everything you can think of...
And the scale still isn't moving.
Before you blame yourself, ask a different question:
👉 Has anyone checked your fasting insulin?
One of the biggest mistakes I see is people relying solely on glucose or A1C to evaluate metabolic health.
But insulin resistance can develop YEARS before glucose or A1C become abnormal.
That means your labs may look "normal" while elevated insulin is already:
❌ Making fat loss more difficult
❌ Increasing cravings
❌ Driving inflammation
❌ Contributing to stubborn belly fat
❌ Increasing future risk for diabetes and cardiovascular disease
In many cases, fasting insulin is the earliest warning sign that something is off.
And yet it often isn't included in routine bloodwork.
When I review labs, I don't just want to know:
"Is your blood sugar normal?"
I want to know:
"How hard is your body working to KEEP your blood sugar normal?"
That's where fasting insulin comes in.
For many adults, I like to see fasting insulin around 5. But on average I see it closer to 15 - 20 in individuals with weight lose resistance.
If you've been struggling to lose weight despite doing all the right things, this may be one of the most important conversations to have with your healthcare provider.
👇 Have you ever had a doctor check fasting insulin?
Yes or No?
I love supplements when used appropriately - the right time, the right way, they can be great tools.
But I also see a lot of people taking:
🚩 Buckets of supplements
🚩 Protocol after protocol
🚩 Recommendations from 6 different practitioners and influencers that should not be combined..and they feel terrible.
The problem usually isn't that they need MORE supplements.
The problem is that nobody has figured out what they actually need, and why, and what deserves attention first.
In functional health, care should be evidence based, precise, strategic, and sequenced.
I've seen women make more progress with 4 targeted supplements than they did with 20 random ones. (READ THAT AGAIN!) ;)
More isn't always better.
More targeted is better.
Your supplement cabinet shouldn't look like a CVS aisle - It should reflect a strategy. 🤍
How many supplements are currently sitting on your kitchen counter? 👇😂
One of the biggest gut health myths…That probiotics fix everything
Yes, probiotics can be helpful
But they are not a cure-all
And in some cases… they can actually make symptoms worse
Especially if there’s something deeper going on
like SIBO or significant gut imbalances
Because adding more bacteria without understanding the environment can create more chaos
This is where a lot of people get discouraged
They’ve tried multiple probiotics
Nothing worked
Or they felt worse
And they start to believe
“nothing is going to help me”
But the issue isn’t that your gut is beyond repair
It’s that you haven’t addressed the root cause yet
Gut healing is not one supplement
It’s understanding what’s actually happening
and targeting that directly
If probiotics didn’t work for you
it doesn’t mean you’re stuck
It just means you need a deeper approach

When most people think about heart disease risk, they think about cholesterol.
But cholesterol is only part of the story.
This client came to us with multiple cardiovascular risk markers moving in the wrong direction. While the LDL was elevated, what concerned me even more were the markers that rarely get discussed:
🫀 ApoB
🫀 Remnant Lipoprotein
🫀 hs-CRP (inflammation)
🫀 Triglycerides
🫀 Lipoprotein(a)
Over the course of our work together, we achieved:
✔ ApoB: 126 → 86
✔ Remnant Lipoproteins: 274 → 161
✔ hs-CRP: 7.76 → 1.03
✔ Triglycerides: 141 → 64
✔ LDL-C: 167 → 103
And here's the important part:
These changes aren't magic - they're something you can achieve too.
They happened because we took a strategic, data-driven approach to improving metabolic health, reducing inflammation, supporting healthy weight loss, optimizing nutrition, and targeting the specific risk factors that were driving the results.
Given the history and family risk factors, I referred her for a coronary artery calcium (CAC) scan—which ultimately revealed early plaque formation (and she is only in her 30's!!).
That's exactly why I believe in being proactive.
The goal isn't just to get better labs. The goal is to identify risk early, intervene early, and give yourself the best possible chance of avoiding a heart attack or stroke years down the road.
If you've only had a standard cholesterol panel run, there may be important pieces of the puzzle missing.
Comment HEART ❤️ and let's talk about what testing you've had, what may be worth discussing with your doctor, and how we can help you build a proactive plan for your long-term heart health.

It’s wild to me that eating real food is now considered a "diet."
Somewhere along the way, we've normalized ultra-processed foods, drive-thrus, protein bars, energy drinks, and ingredients we can't pronounce... while vegetables, fruit, quality meat, seafood, eggs, nuts, olive oil, and herbs became the "restrictive" option.
I eat gluten-free because of a medical need, but beyond that, my meals are simply a paleo-inspired Mediterranean style of eating: lots of colorful produce, quality protein, healthy fats, herbs, spices, and foods that actually came from the earth.
People often ask me what "diet" I'm on...I'm not.
This is how many of the healthiest populations in the world still eat today (look into the Blue Zones for more info on that!). And it's much closer to how our ancestors ate than the current "Standard American Diet" ever has been.
You don't need expensive powders, detox teas, or the latest wellness trend to build a healthier body.
You need more real food.
Will everyone eat exactly the same way? Of course not. We all have different medical conditions, allergies, cultures, and preferences.
But I think we'd all be healthier if we stopped asking, "What's the newest diet?" and started asking, "What did humans actually eat before food became a science experiment?"
Real food isn't a fad.
It's the foundation.
👇 Do you think eating whole, minimally processed foods has become "too extreme"... or has our food culture simply drifted too far in the other direction?

Every week I get on discovery calls with women who are exhausted. Not just physically exhausted. They're emotionally exhausted.
They're frustrated because they've already tried so much.
They've spent thousands on supplements, worked with expensive practitioners, followed complicated protocols, cut out food after food after food - and yet they're still not feeling better.
The heartbreaking part? Many of them never needed MORE.
They just needed a better strategy! They needed someone to help them identify the actual root causes, someone to zoom out and look at the whole picture instead of chasing the next symptom, supplement, lab, or health trend.
We see it all the time:
➡️ People taking 15 supplements while sleeping 5 hours a night.
➡️ People searching for the ONE root cause when they're actually dealing with a combination of gut issues, hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, stress, toxins, and blood sugar dysfunction.
➡️ People eliminating more and more foods instead of asking why their body is reacting in the first place.
➡️ People spending thousands of dollars on the fancy viral things before ever addressing the basics.
The foundations aren't sexy. But they matter.
And when they're combined with the right testing, the right strategy, and the right support, that's often when people finally start getting answers.
If there's one thing I hope you take away from this post, it's this:
Learn from the women who've come before you. Learn from this post. Stop wasting your money. You don't need the most expensive practitioner or the one with the most followers or the coolest gadgets and toys in their office - you need to do the RIGHT things in the RIGHT order with the RIGHT guidance with the RIGHT team that fits YOU and YOUR unique needs.
❤️ Which slide hit home for you the most?
"It was therapy. It was a form of therapy. It was exactly what I needed." 😂❤️
One of my favorite pieces of feedback we receive isn't about supplements, labs, or protocols.
It's when a client tells us:
✨ "I finally feel heard."
✨ "I feel so supported by my team."
✨ "This is the first time someone has connected the dots."
✨ "I thought I was crazy."
✨ "I finally have hope."
Because when you've been struggling with symptoms for months (or years...or decades...), it can be incredibly emotional to finally sit down with someone who takes the time to listen to your story.
Not just your symptoms.
Your entire story.
The stress.
The timeline.
The triggers.
The labs.
The diagnoses.
We listen to the things nobody else thought were important, and then we help you make sense of it all.
Our practitioners are incredibly knowledgeable, but they're also deeply compassionate.
And sometimes having someone say:
💛 "I believe you."
💛 "Your symptoms are real."
💛 "You're not crazy."
💛 "There is a path forward."..is exactly what someone needs to hear.
Health isn't just physical.
Being seen, understood, supported, and guided through the process matters too.
Shout out to our amazing practitioner team - Kristi, Katrina, Carrie, Christy, and Christine - who show up every day and change lives one conversation at a time. 🫶
