Cancer is hard enough, your hair shouldn’t have to be.

After styling my very first wig for a guest battling breast cancer, I quickly realized there were no resources in our area to help those navigating hair loss. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of offering wig services to clients walking through some of life’s hardest moments.

About four years ago, our community opened a state of the art cancer institute, and with it came an incredible opportunity. They were in need of a stylist to guide patients through the process of choosing and customizing wigs — helping them feel like themselves again. God opened the door & I opened Lumi Luve Wig + Garment Studio inside the Peeples Cancer Institute in June 2024.

At Lumi Luve, I offer personalized wig consultations, wig maintenance, styling, cutting, and coloring — as well as complimentary bio haircuts for all patients. As a trained makeup artist, I also provide makeup lessons and color matching using Jane Iredale — a clean, 100% Cancer Society approved makeup line.

I love working with cancer patients. Giving them support through my services as well as loving them in hard places has changed everything about my perspective and awareness. Love is the most beautiful gift to receive and give.

The name Lumi Luve means to illuminate love in hard places. That’s exactly what I hope to do every single day.
