A certificate isn’t the same as being able to work. And most SMP courses sell you the first one.

You finish a weekend class, you’ve got a printout that says “certified”… and then a real client sits down — a scar, a skin tone you didn’t practice on, a hairline that doesn’t match the one photo you trained on — and you freeze.

A real certification has to cover the things that actually come up in the chair:

→ skin science — why pigment behaves differently person to person
