Ever wanted to try a cold plunge? Now’s your chance! We’re looking for first-time plunger volunteers to join us tomorrow Monday, August 3rd. If you’re curious about the experience and up for a refreshing challenge, we’d love to have you! ❄️💙

*Plunge volunteers will be allowing cold therapy instructors in training to coach them through the plunge experience.*

We’ve welcomed so many new followers recently, so it feels like the perfect time to introduce ourselves…

Beyond the Plunge is a science-based contrast therapy studio in Daphne, Alabama, offering cold plunges, a traditional Finnish sauna, breathwork and guided contrast experiences.

Our trauma-informed coaches are here to help you move through the heat and cold safely, at your own pace. You don’t need any experience, and you never have to prove anything while you’re here.

We’re a body-positive space. Wear whatever allows you to feel most comfortable… a bathing suit, shorts and a T-shirt, leggings or something else entirely. All bodies belong here.

Your visit includes towel service, so you can arrive with what you’re wearing and we’ll take care of the rest.

Everyone visits for their own reasons ... physical recovery, to manage stress, to build resilience or reconnect with their bodies.

And what makes us so happy .. some come because they’ve found a community that feels good to be part of.

Beyond the Plunge is a place to explore what heat, cold, breath and connection can offer your body.

We're growing and looking for one, maybe two new people.

Beyond the Plunge is adding to the coaching team. If you've ever walked in here and thought ‘I could see myself working at a place like this,’ this is your sign.

Here's the honest version of what we’re looking for: someone warm. Someone people trust right away. Someone who notices when a guest needs space versus a chat, who folds towels properly without being asked, who makes tea like they mean it.

You don't need contrast therapy experience .. (though a love for cold water is an asset) … we'll teach you that part. What we can't teach is presence, and that's the thing we're actually hiring for.

Remember the conversation pits from the 1970s?

They were built for lingering.

We pivoted the idea... and gave it a new purpose.

Our integration pit is where you land before your session. Where you settle afterward. And maybe most importantly, where you pause between rounds of heat and cold.

You'll see people wrapped in towels with a cup of tea. You'll hear conversations between like minded people, who may or may not know each other.

The contrast session is part of the experience.

The integration is where so much of it sinks in.

The Great Duck Race wraps up tomorrow. 🐥🏁

What started as a fun little game has turned into a full-blown hunt, with ducks being spotted in places we were sure nobody would ever find them.

As of today, we have a leader.

She's lined up more ducks than anyone else and has set the mark for everyone else to chase. 💛
