Men's Mindfulness Monday: Sound + Support

This event was so amazing to be a part of... it truly brought tears to my eyes. Bearing witness to a group of men being vulnerable and sharing their journeys was such an honor. And watching my friend Jason Willits step into his element and lead the discussion was a gift to see.

Nine years ago, we said "I do" on the shore of my favorite lake. A little lakeside wedding that had been a dream of mine since I was young.

It's been a wild nine years since. So many adventures together, and some unimaginable losses too. I can't believe we're already closing in on a decade.

I know everyone says their wedding was the best... but this one really was a dream.

I couldn't ask for a more supportive partner. Every step of this business, he's been my biggest cheerleader, helping me navigate every turn. From the moment I told him I wanted to start a business, to when I left the university, to now opening a wellness center... he's been right there holding my hand, telling me he believes in me and in the community I'm building.

Happy anniversary to the best partner I could ask for. 🤍

One month from today, on September 1st, I get the keys to my new space.

I'm filled with excitement, hope and gratitude. This is a dream I've had for quite a while.

A wellness center in the heart of Downtown Davenport, Iowa. A space for the community to grow, to heal and to connect.

Big big things are coming, and I can't wait to walk this journey with you all.

I've been working hard to furnish and decorate my new space with thrifted treasures, for both ethical and environmental reasons. And yes, of course, cost plays a factor too.

One of my good friends and I went to an estate sale today. I bought a variety of items, but I just couldn't wait to share this beautiful piece with you all.

This space isn't going to be a cookie cutter center. It's going to be unique, and yes, a little quirky.

August's PWYC Reiki Clinic days are here, and this one's bittersweet. These will be my last PWYC clinic days at Motherhood Matters QC before my big move to Downtown Davenport, Iowa.
