A little life/health update... ❤️
Just when I thought I was finally getting my back under control, life threw me another curveball.
After several appointments and a few different opinions, I've now been diagnosed with a fractured bone in my foot. I'll be in a walking boot for the next few weeks and doing my best to let it heal properly.
As many of you know, hairstyling is a career that keeps me on my feet all day, so my doctor has advised me to significantly cut back on standing and listen to my body. If my foot starts hurting, it's a sign that I'm doing too much.
Because of that, I'll be working lighter days than usual while I heal. If your hair is still looking good and you're able to push your appointment out a couple of weeks, please reach out to me. It would help me tremendously by allowing me to spread appointments out and reduce the amount of time I'm on my feet each day. There is absolutely no pressure—I appreciate every single one of you.
I also wanted to mention that if your little one typically needs me to move around quite a bit during their haircut, I may not be able to accommodate that safely while I'm healing. I completely understand if you'd rather wait until I'm back to full speed, or you need a recommendation for someone,I appreciate your understanding.
I truly hate having to ask for grace again after everything with my back, but I'm hopeful that giving my foot the time it needs now will help me get back to taking care of all of you sooner.

A big THANK YOU to Davenport Centrals Environmental Club for coming out to do a fall clean up at the salon today!! Cant wait to beautify the yard this spring with you all! Also a big shout out to my hardworking Boyfriend for workin his butt off in the yard today too! Truly I am surrounded by helpful wonderful people!!
